We build the settlement layer.

PacSpace was founded on a simple observation: when two systems measure the same activity independently, the numbers will always drift apart. We're building the neutral infrastructure that makes every exchange provable — so both sides trust the math, not each other's word.

Born from the
reconciliation problem.

PacSpace began as Pacmodo, a hardware company building supply chain provenance systems. While reconciling supply chain data with counterparties, we discovered the same structural problem that plagues every usage-based business: both sides track the same activity independently, and both are right — about different things.

The reconciliation technology we built to solve our own problem turned out to be the product. PacSpace is the infrastructure company that emerged from that realization. The Balance API is the first product.

Settlement infrastructure will be invisible, neutral, and autonomous.

Every transaction between two parties requires agreement on what happened. Today, that agreement is negotiated — through invoices, reconciliation, and dispute resolution. It's manual, expensive, and adversarial.

We believe settlement will become infrastructure. Like DNS resolves domain names without anyone thinking about it, settlement infrastructure will resolve balances between counterparties automatically. For that to work, the infrastructure has to be neutral — not built by either side, not interested in the outcome.

PacSpace is building that infrastructure. The Balance API is the first product. Usage-based billing disputes are the first wedge. The vision is larger: verified receipts as a primitive for every exchange between autonomous systems.
